I don’t want to get flamed, but the Rams need to march SF’s physicality. Frankly, regardless of SF’s injuries or record at the time, they run it down our throats and their DL dominates our OL, and we inevitably make some crucial Turnovers. We also seem to forget how to tackle. The Rams need to put on their big boy pants and punch back with vigor. If not it will end up another, in a long line,by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
most gutless team Ive ever seenby F.Mulder - Game Time Forum
I tend to err on the side of pessimism, overall re this team, but I absolutely agree with this post. Far too early for alarm bells to be ringing. To be sure a LOT of things need to be addressed before next week, but this team is well coached and has good team leadership. I expect to see a much more representative performance from them Sundayby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
I don’t get it. There are a million Jake Funks out there from the current list of RB cuts or other teams practice squad groupings. I have yet to see anything that makes me believe he is a starting caliber player for the Rams. Maybe someone else takes a flier on him but he is a dime a dozen to meby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
Nobody would trade a pick for him IMO. They’d take their chances on a waiver pick upby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
A gagillion other players who will be cut can put out that type of production. Hardly a ST aceby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
Hated the pick at the time due to his defenses, and all he has done is lived up (or down) to them. Classic underachiever.by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
Sorry. For me guys like Funk are a dime a dozen. Try hard, limited ability guys. There will be at least 10 guys cut from other teams that can do STs AND add something to the RB position. It’s not like he’s some ST ace or anything.by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
He uses angles and leverage and is sneaky strong. He always seems to fall forward. I wish some of our RBs took a cueby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
He did not play well at all. Guessing, going for double moves, looking in the backfield. Who would have thought he'd be the weakest link back there in this game. I agree that he did not have a good playoffs overall either He is feeling a lot of relief from how this could have all turned out. I hope he learns from this experience overall.by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
I couldn’t agree more. I used to get all the draft pubs and write down the 2-4 players they should “get” only for them to go off the grid with a wtf pick, Just get on with it. Some will proper the pick up and others will rip it down. The proof will be on the fieldby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
He has hands better than a lot of WR and anticipates and breaks really well. Now about his tackling.......by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice post. I agree with everything you say except I still have that old, beaten down Ram fan anxiety about winning the division etc. You addressed that feeling previously and are over it. I am still struggling a bit however. I will be glad to be wrong though!by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought I read he had a kid going to school in CA and wanted to be in the area.by F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteThe_Bad_Guy Joe Montana's completion percentage in the pros was 63%. Did you know it was 52% at Notre Dame? Gee! Wonder what that's all about? Could it be coaching? Could it be scheme? Could it be quality of the talent around him? Jared Goff is 21. He has NOBODY to throw. He gets ZERO coaching. He gets ZERO protection. Trust me on this, okay? You consistently pressure ANby F.Mulder - RamsFootballFans.com
I see it now. Sorry. I can be such a dolt. I am probably the best and worst person to do this. Best because I am technologically challenged at times and can represent the "common poster" and worst because those who have that knowledge spend a lot of time rolling their eyes and laughing amongst themselves.by F.Mulder - Help and Support Forum
One Admin question and one general one: is there a way we can mark all topics as "read" when we actually don't read them all but want to make the page updated (e.g. the other topics don't interest us but we don't want to see that we haven't read every post or responses in a thread?)? Two, is it cool if I just post actual Rams-related stuff to this esteemed group of posters and testby F.Mulder - Help and Support Forum
