I look back to the mid 1980s and people gasping because Bill Bain, Rams O lineman, was 305 lbs?? These days, that deemed "tiny". IMO, I have thought genetics determines what is healthy for a body to take size wise. Remember the NBA player, Manute Bol? They bulked him up and instantly, he had issues. More n more, we see players make a subtle cut and down they go. SOMETHING is up,IMby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
It has to be done with strict supervision. My Bud said Squats are BRUTAL on the knees. You have to know when to rest, know how and when to stretch etc. And we all KNOW that millions of kids out there are doing nothing but seeing how far they can go simply to be bigger / better than the other guy.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I see it all the time. Not just with the Rams.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Kids....TOO young, burning out their arms by the time they hit High School. With football.....Are kids hitting weights before they should?? I went to a co worker's Son's Pop Warner game about 10 years ago and I was stunned at the size of ELEVEN year olds. It's one thing to have natural size but these kids were RIPPED! When I was in the USAF, I worked with a guy who was an Asst Strength Coach foby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Has been because the Rams cannot or USUALLY....WILL NOT...run the ball. Saw a HUGE example last Sunday night. It's why my excitement on the OBJ signing is luke warm (Along with concerns about his attitude) I'm quite glad we are playing a team that plays us tough, following the NO SHOW vs the Titans. Curious to see if McVay finally wakes up. Been a LONG time since we beat Frisco.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams have a big game and win 34 to 17. BUT, my feeling closer to the surface says Rams 27 Niners 21by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
It's the players who think THEY are never part of a team problem but quick to accept accolades when things roll smooth. That was my issue with Ramsey when he was in Jacksonville.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Just my Wife is crazy. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII'M perfectly normal!!!!!! I discussed this and argued with myself! LOLby Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
This morning, we finished the last of our Christmas decorations. Started the day before yesterday. Who cares? WE LOVE IT! We also have 95% of our shopping already done. Now we can sit back, enjoy our lights and watch the craziness the next month and a half.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
RIGHT NOW, all is well in Rams Nation. We are a top favorite of the NFC. OF COURSE, Ramsey and OBJ will be well behaved! OBJ, even with attention has been a brat. Ramsey has been GREAT GREAT GREAT for the Rams. Here in Jacksonville, he was the same. Did commercials for a local car dealership.....AND THEEEEEN.......The Jags record went South. SUUUUDDENLY, there was temper tantrums and problems wby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
I USED to think it was something that you just "shake it off" and move on. Her's kept her awake for 5 straight days. She had to be sedated to FINALLY sleep and then medicated. She's been off the meds for years. But I tell ya, it was NOTHING to take as light as I initially did. It gave me a helluva lot more appreciation as a First Responder also.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Most players do!! Does not mean you have to show your @$$. Ellard, Rice, Harrison, Fitzgerald....all wanted to win and were TOP NOTCH pros! I REALLY hope I'm wrong about OBJ, but IMO, it's just a matter of time before he shows his @$$.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Our own HC. He cannot get out of his own way and ego. Now?? We have one of the biggest egos in the NFL........AND HIS DADDY! I hope I'm wrong but I'm worried.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Ellard is my favorite of all time.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
The freedom to roam a bit is cool. I took my boys to a Jacksonville University football game about 15 years ago. THAT was a cool field / atmosphere. It was cool being close enough to hear smack talk on the field and Coaches talking to players. J.U.' s program folded 3-4 years ago, sadly.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Since McVay has been HC, it seems like we are more stoked for the Seahawks than Niners.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Just wondering if McVay might run more with Stafford on a gimpy ankle?by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
In the past couple of decades, there have been players / ex players raising the alarm of head injuries.......Legal actions have been taken......LOTS of fingers pointed at the NFL. WELLLLLLL????????? The past couple of decades, the NFL has added SOOOOOOOOO many rules and "tweaked" a double number TOOOOOO DEATH! Players love it when the Refs let them play. NFL USED to do that back in tby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Same as it ever was....... Same as it ever wasby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
The Jags SHUT THEM DOWN! If the Jags find their stride on offense, they WILL be a team to deal with.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com

Because I sure do not feel warm n fuzzy about our chances when we play the Niners! They seemed to bring a lot more attitude than us. Ram PLAYERS need to man up a bit more when we play the Niners.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Who thinks the guy on the Bears asked for it. It is well known, LIKE IT OR NOT, the NFL is calling Taunting calls. When? Who knows???? But WHYYYY risk it in such a key moment. And you all probably know me... I HATE showboating! Did anyone ever see Jack Youngblood show his @$$ after a sack?? And then after the taunting.......WHHYYYYYY did he have to run right at the Ref? Did the Ref stick his buby Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
We can win the West games but still lose to Baltimore and fall to WC. Rams are banking on the Cards losing at least 2 more games. IMO, they have played much better ball than the Rams this year.....so far.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Cards have a simpler road than us to finish the season. We not only HAVE to beat ARZ but we also have the Packers, AT G.B. and AT Baltimore in early January (Probably in crappy weather) That and two games vs the Niners, who we have not played well against in a long time. Rams CANNOT have anymore disappearing acts by the O line or McVay.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, it's old but that real grass looks even better than the sterile plastic crap of today. AND......Nothing beats an open stadium. Call me crazy but I like it MUCH more than So Fi.by Ramgator - Bucky's Pub
Came off a blocked FG and latteral (Leroy Irvin)for a score. Rams struggled that day. Without 1986, I THINK you'd have to go back to 1980 for the prior Rams home win. NEVER could figure why the Rams played tougher at Frisco. And many of those games were vs Niners legends.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
During lean years, Rams would play MUCH better in Frisco. Heck...The 1999 win at HOME, vs the Niners, broke a home losing streak that went back to 1986.by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
What a HUUUUUGE win!!! VS a bunch of Niner LEGENDS!by Ramgator - RamsFootballFans.com
