Here's the situation the Original Herd Board faced, however...
The old software is no longer in active development. No longer supported. That means - if it was to 'break' the board would have been dead in the water, not to mention the fact that it had far fewer tools for the user and no new ones were to come. New software, to keep the board up and running, was, therefore, a must.
But which new software? Ramsrule did exhaustive research on this topic. No two are the same... some offer 'this', others 'that'. In the end this current software seemed to offer the most value to the users.
The sorting option you mention is one of the most requested features by the users of this new software.... the request is submitted to the developers frequently. We have our fingers crossed that a solution is just around the corner. - JamesJM
