I think he's just packed it in. He has no more energy, creativity, sound thought, or strategizing. I think he's running on empty and we're seeing the best of what he can muster.

McVay is a talented coach, but think about it... McVay has done well when he has had a great supporting staff, a great supporting cast of players... kind of like most QB's do. He's lost a lot of talent in both staff and players and now it's hard, maybe too hard for him. He hasn't had to deal with this before. PLUS... he may have some personal/family stuff going on (the war in Ukraine and his wife's family is over there... his burning desire to be a dad and we have no idea what else).
