Well, actually I miss other races here and there...
So I watched "The Move" by Chastain and being a NASCAR, and auto racing, "Expert" I have come to the Pub to enlighten all of you who are so confused.
Here's the deal.... I have no flipping idea how he pulled that off or why it worked.
When I worked on my friend's T-6 airplane preparing it for the races we did our best to eliminate anything that could possibly induce 'drag'... things a fingernail width were taped over to eliminate the drag. And a concrete wall didn't slow a race car down?
It makes sense that it would enable full throttle.... that I can understand.... but override the friction and drag caused by the wall? That makes no sense. - JamesJM
