but I have posted this before. When stationed at Fort Monmouth, NJ we were suffering horrible heat and humidity. They were closing camp activities at 88º due to heat and humidity. At night we were soaking our sheets in the laundry room to fight the heat and humidity then getting up in the middle of the night to soak them again.
One night, can't remember the month but I think Oct... we soaked our sheets as usual then went to sleep, rising, as usual, at about 3am BUT THIS TIME not to soak our sheets... it's was 30 blessed degrees! From high 80's to 30 in ONE NIGHT... AND... I don't think it ever got over 45 for the rest of the winter. It was summer then WHAM... winter...like it happened by light switch.
