Cuz there's really no sane explanation for why someone not on tour would need 18 guitars.. But, its all good.. Hopefully they all increase in value and some day I may be able to sell them all for profit.. There have been a few items I've bought that I just checked comparable prices on, and they have gone up in value considerably.. So, always good news..
That's awesome that you are so active in what you do.. congrats on the Paul and Tele.. I have a Les Paul Custom I bought as a sophomore in high school that I rarely play.. talk about going up in value! Not surprising these days that you can spend top dollar on a guitar and still need to make major tweaks to it to get it how you want.. You'll get there and you'll fall in love with those hunks of wood..
Motivation is an odd thing... I'm one of those people who is OVER motivated at times and then can't get motivated to do squat.. A lot of it has to do with health, but it is what it is.. Right now I'm working pretty hard trying to get 9 songs properly arranged and recorded (on my home studio) in order to send to Jason Hartless (Ted Nugent's drummer) in order to have him lay the drum tracks.. then I take those tracks, go into a studio in Dallas and re-record all the other instruments.. that's the plan right now, anyways..
He goes on tour with Paul Gilbert (Mr Big) In a few days and gets back October 28th.. So I have until then to get everything the way I want it.. That's TOUGH for a guy who endlessly tweaks arrangements.. My music is like Pixar, the animation movie guys.. they never FINISH a movie - they just release it..
Hey anytime you have anything for me - or the board to listen to - just send a link.. always interested in what you do.. and a BEACH game? Count me in!
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
