pretty much my entire life.. I can't stand being tied down by a cord.. the system I use now has a very small receiver that actually fits on my pedal board, so very convenient and easy.. Previous singers have usually used wireless systems, as well..
What I don't understand is a lot of local musicians use wireless systems and they DON'T MOVE AT ALL on stage... Why use a wireless if you're not gonna move at all? Makes zero sense to me..
I'm really not familiar with feedback eliminator type stuff.. I always thought most feedback came from pushing certain frequencies too hard, or bad placement of monitors or mains as opposed to the stage mics.. I play at ear splitting level both through the Marshall and through my monitors and never have a feedback issue.. I mean, I can't have my overdrive on and sit there wide open volume-wise and not feedback - I do shut off the overdrive in-between songs.. for fast breaks in songs I have a noise gate I turn on that kills the signal so there's no feedback, but i don't like leaving the gate on all the time..
