At this point I bet I could find the similarities.. I know Spielberg took huge CHUNKS of Hitchcock methods to make up for the mechanical shark never working, which actually made the movie what it was.. Even he said that had the shark worked correctly, it wouldn't have bee nearly as successful a flick..
