The Lakenheath Lancers.... England vs Germany

My grandson Nico's team in England. Lakenheath is a USAF base in England. Every team they play this year, starting Sept 2nd, is in Germany... Ramstein, Vilseck, Wiesbaden, and Stuttgart; all USA Military bases. Lancer's have some major travel time. Two days one way by bus to a couple of those German cities, a full day by bus to the other two. And the NFL worries about a travel time of 4 hours by air.

I heard there are a few, very few, German and English teams playing American football. Not sure if the NFL's games in Europe started that or not. BUT... none play the American teams that I'm aware of.
