Moving?

Astoria is gorgeous. No doubt about it. The weather? Well, for some it's fine...not me.

My son lived in Florence, Oregon for a few years. Gorgeous as well.... but constant wind and very frequent rain.

I'm always exploring places to move and the area I like the most, (maybe), is around the Deadwood area of South Dakota.... but I have to be honest with myself..no chance in hell I could handle the winters there. For a week sure... it would be a novelty... but longer than that? I'd turn into Jack Nicholson in The Shining.

The south? Humidity. yucch.

Truth is no place is perfect.... it's what you can tolerate the most.
