I had seen bits n pieces of it but never from start to finish. I bought the DVD back in Feb or March but just saw it tonight. It's just short of 3 hours long but kept my interest. Though I was not in War, I really related to the three main fellas who understood the bond of the Military and their comfort zone around each other. It also shows PTSD before it was recognized. REALLY great movie about the Servicemen AND their families adjusting to life after WWII. Having such a strong fascination with that generation, the movie really had my attention. It was a bit of a bummer to look it up on IMDB and see that EVERY cast member has passed.
