Many think it has to do with bad fans or a weak Marlins team. NO! This is all about the Marlins ROYALLY screwing their fans not once but TWICE??? 1997, the Marlins win it all. For the 98 season, they waited till RIIIIGHT after season tickets (VERY high number) sold and THEEEEEEN they had a fire sale of players. They STUNK in 98. As bad as that was......they did it AAAGAIN after the 2003 season. Fans have turned their backs since. And they are absolutely right in doing so. Since then, the Marlins have not done JACK to field a remotely competitive team.
