VERY special day for us. Dell and Elijah, in the photo below, have been best friends since birth. And YET, they never once attended the same school together. Kerman has... well, I don't know... 4 grade schools? But ONE middle school and for the first time in their lives Dell and Elijah will be in the same school....

This morning my daughter reports that Dell gave Elijah all the tips to succeed in middle school, (Dell is 8th grade and Elijah is 7th). How to not get into fights. How TO get into fights if you need too. How to attract girls (this one surprised me as I didn't realize Elijah was quite at that age yet). How to find classrooms. What teachers are tolerable and which were born of Satan.

So Elijah should be good to go.
