And not just football and basketball
but
baseball and softball , and track , and wrestling and lacrosse , and vollyball , and soccer , and gymnastics and golf , and tennis and womens water polo , and BB stacking , and the other 112 college sports
although this realignment thing is still far from over , the BIG TEN TV deal runs through the end of the year , so the next 6 months will be interesting and not just the BIG TEN , but the other confrences as well
there is alot of buzz out there that Oregon and Washington could be headed to the BIG Ten as well , but thats probably on hold because it's no secret that The BIG TEn is after Notre Dame as well
but the BIG TEN now adding Oregon and Washington , now makes sense , as of now anyways , the BIG TEN is broken into two different confrences , EAST / WEST
so you could add USC , UCLA , Oregon and Washintgon to the BIG TEN West with Nebraska , Iowa , Minnesota , Wisconson , illinois , and those West Coast teams would barely have to cross the Mississippi River to play their divisional games
although the flaw in divisional games is that you have fewer oppertunties to play your non divisional games , were you might only be able to schedule a Ohio St , a Michigan , a Penn St once every 6 or 7 years
