The Navy Pier is cool, check out a architectural river ride takes you through the river area and gives out some nice info on the beautiful buildings the the town offers. Maybe check out the Drake Hotel beautiful old hotel DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe initialed the bar. Check out the glass floor in the Hancock building...near the top floor (s) and you step out onto this see-through glass block, looking down to the street. Also a great Museum near Soldier Field......Shopping...walk the Magnificent Mile.....There's a lot to do in that City, just stay within the safe zones....don't stray away......Oh yeah, they have to check out The Bean.....a piece of structural art work in Millennium Park, there is also an outdoor staging area where they have outdoor concerts right there as well, and great downtown views of the buildings.
Take the Ferris wheel ride at the Navy Pier too, it gives some nice views as well. There is a nice walk around the Lake there too, they have fireworks during the summer there as well. Basically there are tons of things to do/see.......Great food as well, if you like a steak, David Burkes Primehouse is the pick IMO.....met Trent Green there at the bar.....Aged steaks, like 60 days or more in a salt room.....On Rush Street I think.
