I'm thinking seriously of DRIVING up to Great Lakes NAS! That way, I'M in control of getting there. Just toooooooo many War Stories of flights being delayed or cancelled...pre paid Rental Cars NOT being on the lot etc etc. It'd give me a reason to drive through Blytheville, Arkansas again and see a very good USAF Bud.

More n more, I simply do NOT like the ordeal of flying. I'd be VEEEEEEERY pissed if I missed my Son Graduate Boot Camp because of Airline drama.
