I played with them, (not as a member), a few times and only jam sessions. They were friends with some of the members of "The Roadrunners" some of whom I knew pretty well. Roadrunners had a couple hits as well but never really made it.

Unfortunately I don't remember much about it. Seems we met to jam in the town of Hanford? Maybe Visalia? I can't even remember that. I do remember that it was the lead singer for The Roadrunners, Randy Hall, that I traveled with to jam with the Association. BTW... not speaking about the Liverpool "Roadrunners"... the group I knew was from my area.

Quick note about Randy Hall.. he disappeared off the face of the earth. No one seems to know what became of him.
