To make a bit of a pun, as I've mentioned many times before, was with Pantera.. they were from Arlington Texas - about 120 miles away, and used to paly here in town about every 6 weeks.. I got to be really good friends with Darrell (Dimebag, who, when I hung with him was known as Diamond Darrell who was shot and killed onstage years ago) and Terry (original singer) were who I was closest with.. Vinnie (wo just passed away) was kind of a braggart and Rex was a douche.. Darrell got between Rex and me once because we were about to throw down..

Darrell and I hung out a lot.. every time he was in town and every time I was in whatever town they were playing.. I got up and guested with Pantera many times before they got signed - never after they got signed, tho.. I was so crushed when Darrell was murdered onstage performing with damage Plan, their new band after the signer Phil (as big a douche as Rex) split up Pantera.. Singers suck.. I totally hate them.. they are responsible for most band breakups.. I will always think Phil had something to do with Darrell's murder..
