which is about 20 feet - I just laid down a 20 foot rug I ordered for her, so she wouldn't slip.. S, she walks a little more every day, did her business outside. I'm starting to think she'll be ok, although she walked a little last night and her incision started bleeding..
Animals are far superior to humans in some regards.. they absolutely will NOT show their weakness after injury, while most humans over-react looking for sympathy.. I cringe when I think of the injuries our other two Beagles had: Gypsie was paralyzed and Hatfield got his snout broken in half.. not exaggerating.. I saw the scan - his snout was broken in two all around 360 degrees.. he walked the streets for two days before someone took him to a vet.. Gypsie was paralyzed and they did her surgery and now she can walk - she is very lucky someone turned her in before it became permanent.. Mauie got mauled by coyotes, but fended them off, even tho she was full of staples when we adopted her..
I would do anything for those dogs.. they have been to hell and back in life and I'll do everything I can to protect them and keep them happy and healthy.. Man, am I rambling or what?
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
