That lady BATTLED! Chronic back issues (To the point of hindering digestive system) ultimately did her in. But all those issues made her depression worse. She totally lost her will to live a solid 5-7 years before she passed in 2018. I even saw a book on her table by Billy Graham, called "Final Exit". It was about dealing with your end of life. seeing her battle through the years certainly helped me as a Firefighter and responding to such people. So yeah.....I can see depression as a deadly thing over a long period.
