are much more than that simplistic, generalized def......we actually worked within our community. Shows generated monies towards charities, or a certain person in need. Yes a big part is the love of certain cars or even certain companies, but you also had a code of ethics you needed to uphold. That Wiki piece IMO is as most things are with their definitions.....IMO and what I have experienced is way, way more in depth then that info you pulled up....So again I think your definition you call on is much too simplistic., and actually makes it look like the club is only for the interest of the car, and not the life that actually derives outward from that....in a positive vibe..
We enjoyed the inclusion of those who may not have had a vehicle to contribute with, but always enjoyed the interest, the love of those cars anyway.....Helping a person or family by way of our club was a major part of our kinship in the car community....That Wiki thing IMO was just simple writing for those people not associated, or interested in what I consider the real actions of a car club....The clubs I was actually a part of, no need for me to go to Wiki to get a definition, I have lived it, seen it, seen what it meant to others not associated with the club, but got just as much out of it as we did, and many times much more....
