A loooooooooooong time debate. My Brother was an alcoholic .... died from it. He used to say that Pot had less effect, though he hardly smoked it after his 20s. Alcohol took over. He used to say that same line I have seen on Facebook........ Have a bunch of strangers get drunk and there's a good chance for a fight. Have them smoke Pot and they will just get hungry and start a band.
Personally, I have never smoked pot. What has always scared me is the "Gateway Drug" thing. I have had several friends who have smoked pot. A few had zero problems. But I also know of two who rather quickly NEEDED the next thing. One is dead and the other is burnt out and close to homeless.
I think the debate has ZERO concrete conclusions because it depends on the person. Alcohol or pot...In moderation, it's probably fine for most. Thing is, so many do not have much self control. Be it genetic or just looking to escape this stressed out world.
