It was 1978. Kids were not sheltered so much. That's why I loved my Grandfather so much. He'd tell it like it is. IN FACT, he had a sense of humor about death and dying also. I remember him making me laugh about such things when I was close to that age or maybe younger. At his Funeral on 1 Aug 1985, I remember struggling to hold back the tears and then I thought about some of his jokes about dying. Personally, I think young people SHOULD hear such things. It certainly gave me an appreciation for things and understand what people are going through.
