We just lost my favorite German restaurant here..

and I THINK you were talking about a Mediterranean food herb you could decipher, but in the German side salads this place served, there was an herb or spice that just kicked major booty and we couldn't figure it out, either.. We KNEW they wouldn't tell us, even tho we had gotten to be friends with the owners.. but, when they closed down we figured maybe they'd divulge it, but they actually closed the last night they were supposed to be open, so we didn't get to ask them..

So, my favorite Mexican place and German place in town have both closed.. both were mom and pop places.. my favorite Italian place (mom and pop place) is still open, but if they close, that's it.. I'm done.. deep throating a shotgun will be my last meal..
