we are looking to leave Europe behind and move to the US.
For me with american roots (half Germany, half American) it would be back to where it all started after almost 50 years.
I spent almost my entire life here in Germany. We have an appartment in Italy right by the sea and we love it there.
But things have dramtically changed due to this Covid thing. In Austria they will implement a mandatory vaccine rule as soon as tomorrow, Germany legislation is deliberating such a vaccine mandate for everybody older than 18 very seriously and Italy already has such a vaccine law for people older than 50. You can not go anywhere but the supermarkes without being vaxxed three times now.
Other people denunciate each other for breaking some of the stupidiest rules you will ever see in your life.
It has gotten totally out of hand over here.
There is no freedom to live the life we want to live any more.
Looking for a lakefront home somewhere in South Carolina, North Carolina , Texas, Florida region. Maybe even New Mexico where my fahters family has its roots.
