Liked episode 5.... some surprises yes. But I think some of this is going over my head - because one really needs to be a Star Wars expert to catch all these connections - and i'm not.
My grandsons and one other friend I speak with occasionally know all the characters, and their relationships... they can connect all the dots. I think you're that knowledgable as well. I catch some of it but most has to be explained to me. BUT... being a Star Wars dunce hasn't really effected me enjoying these newer shows.
Lot of WWF influence don't you think?
What I mean is 'bad guy' one week and 'good guy' the next.
Maybe you can help me understand something better... and it's regarding Boba Fett himself. In the original Star Wars Boba Fett didn't come off to me as a major character... I barely knew who he was... in fact my grandsons had to fill in the blanks for me... his role, his attire, etc. But here's what I think I'm missing... Boba Fett, for true Star Wars fans, was a MAJOR characters, very loved... hence all the excitement I was hearing from real Star Wars fans when this new series was introduced. But why? What was it about Boba Fett in the Star Wars movies that captured the imagination of the viewers? I think I missed something of importance? - JamesJM
