My story with Hey Jude was: I was at a Cub Scouts meeting.. one of the other kid's older brothers was playing this song.. "Na, na na na na na na... na na na na, hey Jude"... that was the only part of the song I heard.. I was a Beatles fan, so saved up to buy the LP that song was on.. I could only shop at the local Air Force base - where I currently work - because their prices in the BX were much cheaper.. I had seen that LP a hundred times on the rack..
So, I decide to buy the LP.. Sold out.... sold out.. sold out.. for MONTHS.. they FINALLY got the LP in.. I excited bought it and ran home to play it, throwing on Hey Jude, first thing lickity split.. So, this whole song I'm NOT familiar with is playing and I'm, like, "WTF? Where's the song I heard at Cub Scouts?".. finally, after 6 minutes, or whatever, they finally start singing the "na" part.. But, I was pretty upset for a while, after waiting months to buy that LP..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
