Should the Dodgers lose we can all point to many things that went wrong. In so doing we are likely to avoid the one truism: The answer lies with Trevor Bauer and the chain of events that directly resulted from that fiasco. We should not have been in the do or die position with the inferior Giants and we should not have had to even get to that point with a one off game with the Cardinals. On paper the Dodgers had as close to the 1927 N.Y. Yankees as any team in the modern day.
