Bullpen game went almost as perfect as it could giving up only 3 runs on 6 hits but once again the offense let them down.
They just dont come up with the big key hit often enough. When Mookie and TT left that runner on third base in the 7th you just feared it would end like that. And Taylors base running mistake did not help too.
Would have been huge if we could have stolen that game from the Braves when they had their ace on the mound vs our bullpen game.
Especially since we will probably see the same situation in Game 5. Fried vs our bullpen.
Offense has to pick it up soon. They are maddening inconsistent all year long .
