I was a divorced mom in St Louis with 2 kids and I was NOT a sports fan of any kind. Since I was a transplant from Wichita, Kansas who'd only been living in St Louis about 6 years, I didn't know anything about the St Louis sports scene and even less about the NFL: The St Louis Blues, St Louis Cardinals., and Rams none of them meant anything to me. All I remember is hearing a bunch of stuff on the local news and the radio about the football team here might be headed for the Super Bowl. I had never watched the Rams play before that... not on tv and certainly not in person. I thought to myself... "what if they win? Wouldn't that be something if they did... 'cause they're from right here!"

Superbowl 34 was the first Rams game I ever watched. But even then, I wasn't really much of a fan. I didn't really understand anything and there was no one to explain it to me. That didn't happen until I met RAMbeau. As we were courting, he told me he liked football and we started watching a few games together on tv. I had a bazillion questions and he was happy to answer them. Before I knew it, I was watching more football games than him. I had never seen a professional game of any kind in my life. I really wanted to go to a Rams football game. I don't even remember who they were playing but we went to my very first game at the Dome back n 2002 and I've been hooked ever since. It was easy to get into them because they were where I lived. Before too long, we became season ticket holders and there was no looking back.
