No, she's not the youngest. She's the 4th oldest of 7.
Age in the photo? I don't know. I'm the worst at that. You tell me:
Our Homecoming... again, I'm the worst to ask. I know they go all out for it. Each class builds a 'float'... on flatbeds pulled by a semi-trailer truck. Then there are clubs, etc. The marching band. Various 'classic' cars with those running for king and queen and a few other things. Always an ambulance, firetruck, police cars, all with lights and sirens on. They have the parade between the JV and Varsity games... then the King and Queen ceremony at halftime. They extend the normal times to accomodate all that but not sure by how much... I'd guess, (and this is probably close)... from 30 minutes between games to 40? And halftime to about 20 to 30 minutes.
How the Queen is elected... again, you stumped me.
I just always assumed it was a vote, but now that you ask the truth is I haven't got a clue.
We see about 1 a year from other schools as the visitors so I've seen many... and they all seem about the same although I'd say ours is the 'grandest'. I keep saying "ours".
My grandkids all attended school in Kerman, Ca. I live in Tranquillity, Ca. where I attended High School. Tranquillity's colors are Blue and Gold... so it runs in my veins.
