Don't mean to offend - if you liked/loved it that's cool. It didn't work for me... and beyond that... I really didn't like it OR think it was well done.
I was actually surprised to find it available on... I think Amazon Prime? I thought it was brand spanking new and just out in theaters.... or maybe it was, I dunno. I had seen commercials for it, recently, and I do like Clint Eastwood.. a LOT... so I watched it.
Can't say I really liked much of anything about this movie except... the scenery. That was nice.
And it was not that Clint did a bad job of acting... he was fine... but the dialog was BAD. The young boy star? I don't like critiquing kids.. so I'll leave that be. The whole story was just odd to me, it made no sense. None of the characters made sense to me.
Said this before: Maybe I was just in a bad mood. If you liked it I'd like to hear from you... not to debate it, just to hear what you got out of it that I didn't.
Now a real pisser - you remember last year when I mentioned that I had got hooked on "Longmire"? Well, I decided to watch it again.. on Netflix... so I began. I watched 2 episodes and was about half way thru the 3rd when something came up so I paused it.... when I tried to restart it... GONE! Yeah... it's no longer available. It IS on Amazon Prime but for a price.
So I'm back to British Murder Mysteries... which is fine, I really do like them... but I was ready for a change and NetFlix gave me the shaft. - JamesJM
