I don’t know if it still holds up…

but the episode of WKRP when Les sets up a softball game vs a rival radio station was impactful to me. Lots of painful memories for Les buoyed by a happy ending. As a Star Trek TNG fan I also found “The Best of Both Worlds” and “The Chain of Command” quite powerful. Cheers had a powerful moment when Coach was trying to convince his daughter that she was beautiful.
