My post on watching MASH and Col Blake dying made me think of this. My choices are, in no order......... Col Blake's death on MASH...........Another MASH episode (Maybe my favorite of MASH) "Death Takes A Holiday" Hawkeye, BJ and Hot Lips try to keep a dying Soldier alive long enough so his death does not happen on Christmas Day. They fall short, followed by my favorite scene....Hawkeye moving the clock hand to 5 after Midnight.......................All In The Family, "The Draft Dodger". Meathead has a Draft Dodger over for Christmas dinner all the while Archie has his buddy over who lost a Son in Vietnam. VERY VERY powerful last few minutes of that episode! .......................... And Good Times, James Evans' death. I STILL tear up when Florida slams the bowl and yells "DAMN! DAMN! DAMN! That episode gets me more with age, with the passing of several CLOSE family members. I STILL think "Damn Damn Damn" at times when I think of my Brother.
