IMO: He's a weird baseball player. Powerful swing in the batting box. No question-if every pitcher gave him the pitch 90 mph down the middle -he's a monster. But we are not in little league. On TV he appears to uppercup most pitches with an attempt to hit the home run every time.

OTOH he is an elite fielder in CF. So what are Roberts choices ?

I believe Bellinger needs to be shut down for the rest of the season. He is still recovering from injuries.

I think HIS best approach is to get his body right over the off season and then, see if that improves his hitting. If he recovers 100 percent, he might not have to adapt a new approach to hitting.

He is so used to going up there and hitting one way and because of injuries, his timing is off. He really looks lost and I believe its because everyone is asking him to try this and try that, his head is swimming.

I believe he can still be a useful player if he recovers fully but I doubt it will happen this season, so its best to shut him down.
