Strike zones USED to be broader and standard. Over the last 25-30 years, it seems every Umpire has THEIR strike zone that varies depending on the mood they are in or even the Pitcher. Greg Maddux was a great one but he did get a LOT of low and away calls. USED to be simple.....Cross the plate, from the knees to the navel area.
