Re: 12-year-old in the Olympics?

I know there were some 13 year old skate boarders. I was surprised they're so young. Pretty sure I've seen 15 year old gymnasts but don't recall seeing athletes younger than that competing at the Olympics. I don't think there's a maximum age requirement so guessing there's no minimum age requirement either. If you're an athlete who passes the requirements to make the team for your sport then you're in... no matter what your age is. That's the way it seems to work.
