and not to be 'overly' critical -

I agree CBC is much better... and the reason why, I believe, is that they're aware that it's the Olympics, The Athletes, The Competition, that create the drama, the excitement... more so, that is, than NBC that tends to think, IMHO, THEY need concoct through various means thee drama, the excitement. Perhaps that's true for some, needing a boost to feel it all... not for me.
