Scottie by the name Bonnie, contracted cancer, was a fine award winner 7 year old and boom it hit and gone in less then 2 months. Still don't feel right in the head for getting another pooch. Had a Australian Terrier before her, he passed away in 2005 so we waited from"05 till '17 between dogs. I just have a real issue on getting a new dog because in my mind I would be replacing someone, and I find that VERY hard to do. Dingo lived with us for 1 good 16 years but had diabetes, had to give him insulin shots every day...also got cataracts and had surgery to remove them ($$$$)!!.....
So we sit around with a cat, Mary has always been the cat person, but Remi ( I call her Jimmy) hangs with me and kinda pisses Mary off, especially when I call her Jimmy and not Remi. Have considered getting another dog, but when I do I think about Bonnie and the thought kinda goes away.
Looks like you got a winner and thank goodness you can care for her every need....I see she's in a birthday hat....reminds me of 1 of Bonnies B'days and we invited friends who had dogs over for a dog party....they all had burgers and hot dogs...then we took a "walk around the block dog parade with all the dogs having balloons tied to the collars and the masters proudly displayed their beer cans/bottles....really miss Bonnie, nick name was Pops, because she could really jump into the air for a "shorty" gal.
