Yeah, never tried to add them all up but it would be a very large number.... people I played one or two gigs with that is.

I've been in only 4 bands.... but I define that as guys who founded, then stuck with, the band throughout. I've been any MANY transitional bands.. by that I mean those times when one band melded into another. I've only NOT been in a band twice since around '63..... '59 if you can't HS band, and '55 if you count grammar school band.

During my tour of duty I was out of a band. While in Germany, however, I did audition for the military band, got the job, but didn't carry through with it.

Then in the late 70's the Mountain Oysters (band I formed after getting out of the Army), broke up because a band member moved away... I was without a band for just under a year... then started a new group and since then there hasn't been a day I haven't been in a band. - JamesJM
