This is Japan we're talking about here... I was expecting the all time most spectacular show for the opening ceremonies.
Not sure but I would think those chosen to perform for the ceremonies have to be locals? Rehearsals must take months... I can't imagine that some of the performers were flying in to the games... although with 'zoom' and such maybe they figured out a way to pull it off?
Tragic for athletes, parents of athletes, and fans. BUT... it's still the Olympics, and I will definitely be tuned in. - JamesJM
