If my new Bimini Tops don't arrive soon...

My entire family is going to melt. 3 times on the lake so far this summer... no Bimini tops. Hopefully they arrive this coming week... some 60 days after I ordered them.

Seems there was a stampede on boating supplies this year... coming out of Covid everyone wants back on the lake(s). Most boating items are sold out requiring extremely long waits.

So how did we compensate? Lots of sunscreen, for one thing. More time IN the water than on the boat. Even so, ouch. I can't even shed the previous weeks peeling before I begin anew.

But here I am moaning when the reality is how great it is to get out of the sweltering heat! This last trip, Monday, I was actually 'cold' for most of the day... the water was cold and also there was a fairly strong wind that felt like an icy blast when getting out of the water. But you have to keep in mind, of course, what I consider cold most people consider sultry.
