yesterday and today.. yesterday was a Cat Scan done in Dallas on my right kidney.. They did the scan, then injected dye into an IV port - or whatever it is - and it literally felt like boiling water being injected in my veins, that then I could feel work it way all the way down to my toes - probably within 2 seconds.. Then it got even hotter, but then chilled out..
The good news, the tumor isn't any bigger.. the bad news - after about 9 months of taking Panacur C, the tumor isn't any smaller.. He suggested waiting another 6 months, doing an MRI, then removing the tumor.. it sucks because my insurance BCBS Federal is the ONLY insurance company that won't pay for ablation.. where they either burn it or freeze it off.. So, it would be conventional surgery.. 5 small holes.. combined with the 3 small holes from gallbladder removal.. I figure I'll be able to tell everyone I got shot by 00 buckshot from a shotgun blast.. But, I don't want that surgery.. but, is apparently inevitable..
Today I had an echocardiogram done on my heart.. Its like a sonogram, but then they inject a saline solution with bubbles in it that they can see leaking from the heart if there is a hole somewhere.. They stuck me in the exact same spot I got stuck yesterday.. $&#^$@ idiots.. Technician not allowed to discuss results, so I'll have to wait on the cardiologist to contact me..
Friendship is like peeing your pants.. Everybody can see it, but only you can feel the warmth..
