Reef Shark, Mama... nothing special.. Reef Sharks are kinda like mutts - they're everywhere and always super friendly lol..
Actually, it really depends on the area.. in this particular area (Half Moon Caye) shark swill let me get right up on them - like 2 feet away - at least for a little while.. in other spots (The Elbow off Turneffe atoll) Reef Sharks won't let me get within 15 feet of them - they hightail it out of there.. I do have video of sharks on The Elbow, but further away and you can see, as I get closer, they turn away and swim off.. they're way more afraid of me than I am of them..
But I do have some more cool video coming from The Elbow.. We got lucky on our very last dive of the trip...
