for the lake, myself.. I learned, several expensive pairs of shades ago, that I shouldn't wear expensive shades to the lake, as the bottom of the lake is probably cluttered with them.. Unfortunately, our lakes are mud holes, or I'd dive down and have my pick of stuff.. You can get floaty things to put on your shades and expensive stuff so that it floats if you drop it in water.. might cut down on your margaritas, tho..

Hey, and just cuz you're in a lake, don't be fooled: There's all kinds of stuff that would love to kill you hanging out at the bottom of most lakes.. Catfish the size of Volkswagons, Alligator Gar with gnarly teeth as long as barracudas who can't find enough to eat in the lake... they're there just biding their time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike when nobody's camera is out..
