I bought a push lawn mower powered by a lithium 40v battery. Not the same power as a gas powered mower but damn close enough not to deal with gas... I instantly did a search for electric riders. Still too expensive. But I was absolutely impressed with the power and the run time.... $200.

Our next vehicle will be an electric SUV.

I will always love the combustion engine and will always have one. My car. But the family car will be electric in a few years. I think most of it depends on price. Once their pricing gets in line with gas powered vehicles it will be easier for people to switch over.
