SoFi is an outdoor stadium. It has a canopy, but the canopy is a stand-alone structure that is not physically attached to to stadium anywhere. SoFi does not have air conditioning in the main bowl, relying on natural air flow under the canopy for air exchange.
Thanks for clarifying. Not sure where things will be come September, but as of June 15th, California will be operating under new Covid protocols that were announced today. As those protocols relate to mask-wearing (in part):

California will require organizers of indoor events with more than 5,000 people to verify that attendees are either vaccinated or have recently tested negative, according to Ghaly.
The state will recommend, but not require, the same for outdoor events with more than 10,000 people — though organizers will have the option of allowing unvaccinated and untested attendees, provided they wear a mask.
Not sure if the above will apply to sporting events, so it's unclear what will happen with respect to any social distancing requirements.
