If you think I'm totally lost when it comes to cosmology then I can't begin to explain to you how lost I am regarding cosmetology.
And I'm better with cosmetology than I am with pharmaceuticals. I'm always astounded that everyone I know knows exactly what medicines they take and specifically what they're for. I don't think I've ever read a label on a prescription bottle of medicine. I've been on the same medicine since my heart attack many years ago and I still couldn't tell you the names of any of them... well, not fully anyway... I have finally mastered the first syllables of two of them, (I take 3).
Every time I go to the doctor they ask what medications I'm on... this even from the doctors that prescribed them. I answer, "uhhh LIS-something" and the nurse nearly always finishes the word. And I always agree "yeah, that's it", even though I'm not really sure. For all I know the nurse is putting down some LIS first syllable medicine that's used to cure some rare form of Arkansas anus fungus.
