I like to watch some of the youtube videos of the "tour the factory" variety. Taylor and Martin are probably my favorite "production" guitars, at least of those I have any familiarity at all. But the really interesting videos are the small custom luthiers like Driftwood Guitars and stuff like that.

I'm glad you don't have to justify the quality of instrument you can get by your level of talent. I'd have to play one of these.
